Digital Photography Project ( 5 photos)-Katie

PANORAMIC
For this project, I took three seperate pictures of the this scene. Then, using the stitch tool, I pieced all three together as one. I then cropped around some corners and as a result, got 1 picture from 3.
 BRAND NEW
I used the yogurt as brand new because it was meant to seem like it had just spilt out of the package. Therefore, it is brand new. I had to crop out the backround and that way the viewers are looking at the main image.

 10 MINUTES FROM HOME
We had to take a picture ten minutes from our house. When i took this picture, it was not black and white to begin with. So I had to change it from its original color into black and white using the Corel Photoshop.

 SPOT OF COLOR
For this picture, the output was supposed to be a picture with one object of a different color that easily sticks out from the backround. In this case, the snowflake is the spot of color.

STILL LIFE:
For this project, I set up my lunch this particular way and then took a picture of it sitting on a white paper towel. I then cropped the background out of the picture and made the background black so that the main photograph would seem to be popping.

Six Photo Projects

For this project we were told to find a spot of color. I used pom poms to find my spot of color. I zoomed in on the desired area and then cropped out the unnecessary things in Corel Photo-Paint X4. This was the resulting effect. Can you see the spot of color?

For this project the theme was brand new. This was one of the hardest for me personally. I took a cookie and broke it in half leaving the crumbs around and on it. The crumbs would be brand new.

For this project we were told to create a picture involving food. It would be a still life. I looked in my lunch for that day and took out some random food and put it together to create the picture. Then I cropped out the food and placed it on an all black background to make sure it stood out.

For this project we had to take at least three pictures that could be combined into one to look like one final picture. I took three pictures of the chalk board many times until I found ones that I could place together using the stitch tool in Corel Photo-Paint X4.

For this project we had to take a picture and put one of the many art effects available in Corel Photo-Paint X4. For mine I used one that made the picture completely compiled of large dots.

For this project we had to take a picture of something that is 10 minutes from our home. Then we either had to take the picture in black and white or convert it to black and white. I took this picture in black and white and really like the look it gets.

So those are my six projects!

Photography Fun

For this project we had to add an artistic effect to a picture.  So I put a mask around a giraffe, and turned it into puzzle pieces, then I gave all the trees around it a cubist effect.

For this picture I had to capture something brand new.  I had just opened my apple sauce so it was brand new.

For this one I
had to take at least threee pictures and then using the stitch tool turn them into one panaramic picture.

This is an unedited picture of an apple in the snow.  The concept was to take a picture of a natural spot of color, and the red apple stood out compared to the white snow.

This picture is a still life picture.  I arranged the fruit in a way I thought looked good, then took the picture.  The only thing I changed on the computer was the lighting a little.

For this one I had to take a picture "ten minutes from home".  While driving home one day my dad and I saw a deer, so I took its picture.  Then I put the picture in black and white.

6 Fun Computer Projects!

This is project was to find a brand new object and take it's picture.  So I took a picture of a brand new banana.
This picture was taken in color, and converted to black and white.  It is a picture of the local ferry.
This is a panaramic pitcure that I toook in three parts and used the Stitch tool to connect the three pitures.
The picture to the left is a non-edited pitcure that I took after a snow storm to get a spot of color in a white background.
The bell above is a color picture that I used an effect on to give it a sketched and burnt look.
The food above is a still life pitcure.  I also used a tripod to get a steady picture.

Computer Projects

Lauren always said she wanted to be a rockstar, with a little color changes she really is
Drew is a cross-country runner for the Fishers Island School, so maybe his speed is a little impressive

Don't worry, no actual people were seriously injured in the process, just a little burised and battered

Digital Photography Project

I used a picture from an outside source and a picture of myself to create this picture. I used the "blur effect" in Corel Photo-paint to tranform the image from the orginal boring one to a motion like picture.
I created a post card using an outside source for my background picture and a picture of Connor and myself throwing a frizbee. Using Corel Photo-paint, i cropped myself and Connor and added the cropped picture to the background image.
When Pancakes Go Bad is a book filled with silly images that are transformed from an oprignal picture to make it unique. I found the idea, "size does matter" from the book and used Corel Photo-paint to crop the image of the ape into the background picture.
